Auto Dealership and Lighting, Where is the savings?
It is the New Year. President Barack Obama is into a regiment now as he
sits in the oval office. The nation speaks about the economy,
opportunities and energy savings. Now here is a mixed bag. If you look
carefully in the attached photos, Rusnak BMW of Thousand Oaks just built
a brand “efficient” building. Their boast is about being one of the top
dealers; they spent around 40 million dollars creating the huge internal
auto dealer off the 101 freeway. I guess some one forgot to tell them
that if they are going to turn the light on and burn 19200 watts per KWH
they should do that at night, not 5 days in a row. By the way, we know
they should only burn 9200 watts per KWH at night anyway. There is no
regulation yet suspending the “green effects” of metal halide and sodium
vapor lights at auto dealerships. Oh well. (happy oil well)

middle of the day? (see photos below)

Good for our clients that use Induction Lighting to Save big Dollars.
Maybe Rusnak will call us too and learn more.

We also compiled a study several months ago for a major car dealership
in the same area. They will save $100,000 + per year by replacing
lights. Check back with our blog when we post who this is and other
success stories.
